Finale version 2014.5
Mac

I've been working on music cues for a silent movie, using the movie window in Finale. Through various tempo and meter changes, I have managed to get the music to sync (in Finale) pretty well. The movie is to be performed with live musicians, so I exported (.aiff) a click track to sync with the film. But when I dropped the click track into the video software it was too long (by almost 10 seconds) and events weren't lining up. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I can't say what's up, but one thing I have found is that Human Playback can vary from session to session. If you use the HP plugin (or newer feature) to apply all the MIDI data in a fixed, hard-wired fashion, then sync up the music to the movie, you might have better success.
