Hi folks,
Thanks ahead of time for your expertise.
I have this little ditty that I'm trying to create an mp3 track for, but the playback volume jumps all over! Seems unrelated to dynamic markings, and I've tried setting the MIDI key velocities to all the same, to no avail. You'll hear it at measure 4 and 13, I think?
Playback is also ignoring fermatas, if that's any clue. What's going on?
Thank you!
Dave

You have quite a bit of MIDI data running in the background. Since Human Playback is set to None, I'm guessing you applied the Human Playback feature (maybe the plugin, as it is called inn 2014?) to get all that. Was that what happened?

P.S.: Here's the file with all that data cleared and HP set to Standard. Does it play any better?

Hi Zuill,
THANK YOU so much. It plays back beautifully now.
I actually have no clue how the Human Playback stuff works. I just use speedy entry to type all this in, but probably screwed something up along the way. I used a Roland GW-7, through a PreSonus Audiobox, if that makes any difference.
Could you please tell me how you cleared the MIDI data?
Thanks again.

I used the same plugin you used to add all the data (and None for HP set an option when applying the HP data). In the same window, at the bottom, there's a utility for clearing all the data. I believe I checked all the boxes. After clearing all the data, I set HP to Standard.
