Is there any way to look and SEE a Tempo Change marking somewhere That I Can't Find in plain sight ? I re-opened a file from Finale 2012 after the Upgrade in 2020 - The Garritan won't work on the file either,as it's not supported anymore, but that's another issue.. Right now, it's changing tempo gradually throughout the piece, from the 109 set point, gradually to 120, but I can't SEE any markings telling it to do so - I set the Human Playback to None.
Thanks In Advance.

I appreciate that and I've done that before and they DID find the problem ... But this time it's a copyrighted piece going out to a TV series, so obviously I can't place it anywhere else ... What I did was this ... I replaced ALL of the times that it showed a Tempo Marking... Mostly Every 3 Measures I believe ... Even though they all said 109 , I justre-Typed 109 Again ... And that fixed the problem ... BUTTTT ......... After it repeats and plays it the 2nd time through , it starts the piece over at 120, then gradually decreases to the 109 !!!!!!! This was a piece that I originally started in Finale 2012 and Re-opened in the upgraded 2020 Version....... It even says that Garritan doesn't work anymore, it comes up as Unsupported ....... But it's working ...... Must be a glitch in the OLD to NEW Software ... Something isn't lining up or being carried over to the 2020 Version ..... I saved it and re-opened it, Hoping that it would NOW be a definitive 2020 Finale File ........ But , Nope ........

Sounds like a HP setting. Sometimes unchecking just one item fixes things. Could be "Interpret Harmonic Cadences" Possibly "Automatic Expression". Sorry we couldn't be of more help.

HP certainly does have weird issues at times. I have a file, originally created in ver2005, where the playback tempo suddenly halves in one place when HP is on. Turn off HP and it's fine. What's even more weird is it happens at a forward repeat marking, and if I delete the repeat marking playback is OK, even with HP turned on. As you rightly say over there, go figure!
