File Specific - Playback scrolls but no sound

Hello all,

I have tried everything I can think of to fix this issue to no avail. Finale plays other files just fine, but this file simply will not play. Do you have any ideas? See attached file.

Any idea why, when switching to Scroll view, the measures are all empty?

My guess is your file is corrupted. In addition to the blank Scroll view, notice in the score there is a hidden staff, yet you only have one staff. If I try to reveal the hidden staff, Finale crashes.

I downloaded the file as mxl and imported it. I would post it here, but the forum says that mxl is not an allowed extension.

I am changing the extension to musx and posting. You will need to change the extension back to mxl to open with Finale.

All I did was move the text fields around and click "Reassign Playback Sounds."

I imported it into Finale 27.1.4. It plays back and doesn't have the strange problems yours does. I've attached the file (this really is a .musx file).
