Midi notes hanging

When entering notes with the Speedy entry tool, I have to stop and go back and correct the notes that end up showing up on the screen because those are the ones that are hanging when playing them with my midi controller - I play one note at a time, some notes begin to hang and those are the notes that get shown on the screen, not the notes I am pressing - then any rests become the hanging notes as well... This has turned out to be VERY time consuming and I have the same problem on two computers - Also have noticed it since Finale 2009 - I am currently running Finale 2011a - There HAS to be an end to this problem!!!

This is a known issue, that Finale is working on. Please submit your case through the Tech Support system. The more info they get about computer configurations, etc., the better they can work on solving it.

Same here and it drives me nuts. I do get a lot of it using the KOrg Microkey series (both 61 and 37) not so much using an older M-Audio 49 key usb-keyboard.

Is there any solution now on the problem with Midi notes hanging? I have it too - on both my computers with different keyboards.

From what I've seen on the forums, the newer versions seem to have this occur much less often. You might consider upgrading.
