I can't open ETF files in Finale 2003..Invalid file type?

I got an invalid file type error message when trying to open some ETF files that were sent to me.

Any ideas??

you may try this - change the name of the file to mus (rename and exchange etf with mus) - hope it works - let me know - good luck - dan

The files could be created in Finale 2004 or Finale 2005.
If they are, you can't open them in Finale 2003.
The Finale file format is not downwards compatible.

Try opening the ETF files in NotePad 2005.
