I'm trying to get around to the document/tools appearance as shown in e.g. Tutorial 1 of my Finale v.2014, but the Palettes and Backgrounds window of Preferences does not offer a selection (Classic, Cool, Glass, Globe, Jazz, etc) as did my v.2006 as well as, from what I gather, v.2012.

The v.2014 tutorial shows a nice Glass or Silver style, just like my old v.2006 on another computer has, so I figure the option is available somewhere in the controls, unless Finale faked it for appearance sake. Any other v.2014 users feeling like they're stuck back in 1998? -thx
Started with Finale in 1997 on a 300 series Macintosh Performa. If only I had stayed current since then!

There are no style options in 2014. If you don't like it, please let MM know, through the support system. If enough of us complain, maybe they will bring it back.
