Problems with copying and pasting Finale 2012

Hi
I'm new to this Forum. Everything has been going great until this morning and now all of a sudden, I'm lost the ability to copy and paste anything... be it a single measure or long phrase, nothing transfers.
I did see that there was a bug fix for this problem and downloaded the fix copying issue, but nothing has changed. I should add that prior to this change, Finale crashed several times on me over the past week. Each time everything was recovered as saved.
I'm assuming I have corrupted file causing the issue. I did a re install CD, thinking that the corrupted file would have been overwritten but no luck.
Any ideas as to what's going on? Everything else seems to be in tack. Tom S

Welcome to the forum.

Is this all files, or just one? Have you restarted the computer?

If its just the one file, try exporting it as XML, and reimporting it.

Perhaps the culprit was the Copy Filter?
