keyboard chords tend to break

Entering chords (several notes at the same time) with a keyboard (simple entry), very often I don't hit all the notes at exactly the same time and as a result the notes are not notated as a chord but rather as separately entered notes, one after the other. This makes entering piano music torture!. Any clues as to how to decrease the sensitivity of the keyboard (or of Finale) to these slight errors of keyboard touch. ??? MANY THANKS
