The box with the checklist of which parts to print no longer appears. I can only print a score or flute part.

Welcome to the forum!

From your description I assume that you are not using Special Part Extraction, but rather using linked parts, right?
(Special Part Ectraction is a special case of printing the score)

The print list only shows what you can print.
You can only print linked parts that have been generated, and the score.
You can not print linked parts that have not been generated.
Actually a linked part does not exist until it has been generated.

My guess is that the flute part is the only linked part that has been generated.

Try this:
Document menu > Manage Parts…
You get to the window Manage Parts where you can generate and delete linked parts - and edit the part definition(s).
To expand the window, click the button “Edit Part Definition >>”.

Yes, I am using linked parts, but in the Manage Parts menu there is a list of generated parts, and every part in the score (for full band) is there. I can see them when I go to the Edit Parts command as well.

The printing dialog box with the check list used to come up before I updated to the most recent version. My husband did not update, and his still works.

Your problem sounds really strange.

In order to help you I think that we need to see an actual Finale document.
I suggest that you attach a (small) Finale sample document here - for the gurus to examine.

This forum does not accept attachments with the Finale file name extension.

Before you can attach a Finale document in this forum, you must compress it, e. g. as a .zip file.
And the file size must not be more than max. 100 KB.

(To reduce the file size you can clear the music.
We only need to see a document with empty measures.
To reduce the file size further, delete all items in selection dialogs, like e. g. Expression Selection, Articulation Selection, &c.)

Note that the checklist for parts no longer appears BEFORE the print dialog, but is now included within the print dialog itself. f the print dialog shows very little, you need to click on the small triangle to show more options.
