It seems like with Alt it could move only the top staff and grow the system until it bumped into the one above, but alas it doesn't seem to work that way.When you drag or nudge the top staff of any system other than the first, Finale adjusts the distance between systems.

I'm aware of that. Not the top staff.motet wrote:I thought you were trying to move the top staff independently. You can't, which is a "feature" present on Windows as well, not a bug.
