F25, Windows 10 laptop install problem

Last night, I helped a friend get F25 installed on her Windows 10 laptop.
Although the main and auxilliary tool pallets display properly, some of the "in a window" palettes are wrong. In the Staff Groups window, the tiles for the barline selections are properly sized, but the barline icon on each one is so small as to be illegible. In the lyrics window, the tiles for type into score, click assign, etc. are correctly sized, but again, the icons on them are tiny.
Any suggestions as to what might have caused this, or for a fix?
Right now, I'm sitting in a field in Oregon, waiting for the eclipse, but I may see her again on my way home.
