Does anyone know how to make a guitar part with chord symbols above the staff and four slashes (in 4/4 time) on the staff like you would see in a big-band guitar part. The chord symbols aren't a problem but how do you enter the slashes and can you enter in mass for the whole piece.
Thanks for any help! I'm on Finale 2006.

To get the Slash Notation, use the Staff Tool.
Slash Notation is an Alternate Notation.
You can set the staff to display Slash Notation globally (in all measures of the staff) in the Staff Attributes for the staff.
You can display Slash Notation locally (only in selected regions of the staff) with a Staff Style.
