Invalid Handle and Maestro on 2006

Hello,

I am running Finale 2006c on Windows XP and when I start the program I get an error message that says "the handle is invalid." This does not crash the program, I'm not sure what it means.

When I go through the setup wizard it does not let me select maestro as the font I want. It shows the option but it is faded out so that I cannot click on it and have to use the jazz font. I checked under both Finale and Windows and maestro is there in the fonts section. Does anyone know a way to solve this problem?
