Finale crashes when I use the Lyrics tool

Has anyone else had an issue with Finale crashing when trying to type lyrics? It will also sometimes crash when I enter notes. I have version 25, and am working on a Mac, which I recently updated, so I'm wondering if that might be part of the problem since this hasn't happened before. I have tried switching out the old preferences, and that hasn't worked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
