Good day,

I hope I can describe this adequately.

I would like to use the voices on a sound module (Yamaha TG-100) when I playback files through Finale (instead of using the program voices).

The setup that I currently have is:

Windows 2000 using Finale 2004,
M-Audio Keystation 49e Midi controller (internal MIDI Interface)
Yamaha TG100 Sound Module.
Computer speakers.
Realtek HD Audio Sound Card

The Midi controller is plugged into the computer via USB cable which was supplied (it gets the power from the USB as well). I also have a MIDI cable plugged from Midi controller (MIDI OUT) to the MIDI IN on the sound module. I have a cable from the LINE OUT (L & R) on the sound module to the speakers on my computer.

Everything is working fine in this configuration except playback through the sound module (obviously). IS there a connection that I can add to make Finale utilize the voices on the sound module instead of the program voices or do I need an actual MIDI interface plugged into the sound card of the computer?

Any help would be appreciated.

AWC
