mac core midi and patch changes

I cannot seem to get finale 2004 for mac os x to recognise the patch change names for my korg trinity module. I can change patches ok in the instruments window - but only with generic "Patch 1" "patch 2" "patch3" names, which is a little boring! Has anyone got any ideas?
