Will Finale ever "sing"?

Is there any MIDI that can sing words in vocal music set in Finale? EWQL Symphonic Choirs is for electrical engineers, not musicians...and it doesn't work anyway.

Vocal synthesis is indeed a great "upgrade" idea. Fortunately another company has already become a leader in the field at a very modest price/performance/quality ratio: namely Myriad Software with their program Virtual Singer (an optional module for their main program Harmony Assistant).
Virtual Singer supports up to eight simultaneous voices among several languages (such as English (British and American), French, Spanish, German, Finnish and Italian). It also supports Jazz Scat singing. Further refinement of pronunciation is available through direct SAMPA encoding.
Since Harmony Assistant supports MusicXML import/export as does Finale, converting files with lyrics to and from the programs is very convenient.
