When I create tuplets, I can choose between "show number" or "show nothing". The general rule is that tuplets are numbered ("3", for example) on the the two first ones, and not numbered for the following ones. It would be fine to get this option! As it is now, I have to ask for "nothing" and re-number myself the first two tuplets, everywhere!!

Finale has a utility for changing tuplets (this is not the fully automatic solution you are asking for, but better than nothing):
Selection Tool.
Select the region you need to change.
Utilities menu > Change > Tuplets…

I suppose that it is possible to write a plug-in that could, automatically, find all regions with tuplets, and change the first two tuplets in each region.

By The Way:
Do you know Jari Williamson’s Finale plug-ins?
There are many great time savers among Jari’s plug-ins.

I've never heard of this as a "general rule". Can you point to anywhere this is stated?
