Hi everyone.

I've been trying for some time to put in a score a time signature like the one in the image.

I didn't manage to do that. Is that possible, to do that with finale?

With the “full Finale” it goes like this:

In the dialog box Time Signature, click the button “Composite…”.

In the dialog box Composite Time Signature, enter
2+3 *)
over
4

*) That’s right, no kidding:
three characters in the same field.

You have posted your question in the NotePad forum.
Unfortunately you can not access Composite Time Signature from NotePad.

Somewhat related...is it possible to change time signatures within a score in Notepad?

No. In NotePad, you can only have one time signature (or key signature.)

thanks so much...I figured as much. I used to have Finale 95 on an older computer that died and found that to have unbelievable versatility...I assume the latest full versions of Finale are only that much more advanced.

If you still have the box from your Finale 1995 then you should have a serial number, which means you would be eligible for a discounted price on the upgrade to Finale 25. I'm not sure it's going to be a big discount however since your version is so old.
