Annotation problem with swing font in Finale 2008

Postby fishhat » Fri Dec 26, 2008 7:16 am

I tried loading a swing font template and Finale says Therre is no annotations for the ties.
I tried converting a 2008 finale doc to swing font and the ties were moved higher above the staff than normal. (also got the annotation message).
I am awaiting an answer from Sigler Music Fonts.

Annotation problem with swing font in Finale 2008

Finale comes with a folder of ready made .FAN files for the standard Finale fonts.
Unfortunately in that folder there isn't a .FAN file for the Swing font.

Hopefully you can find a .FAN file for the Swing font somewhere on the web.

If not, you will have to create the Swing font .FAN file yourself (time consumning, since you have to work your way through all the font characters):

Program Options > Edit
Click the button "Font Annotation".
