Importing PDF files into Finale 2009

A friend of mine gave me several PDF files containing sheets of music.

I would like to know if it is possible to read in PDF files.

I was able to find out that one can import TIFF files, but my source files are in PDF format. I was able to save off the PDF into a TIFF file and import them into Finale, but I am hoping to not have to do that.

Please let me know if any of you has imported a PDF into finale before, I am using version 2009.

Here is a program that can open a PDF file, and export it as a MusicXML file:

Finale can import a MusicXML file.
