Message:1) Yes... I want the words "Fill" or "Solo Fill" to be written above the stave as it is written in order to ask the drummer to improvise for 4 quarters for example. But I want it written as it is written in professional notation for drummer with some sort of a special "frame"-like around the text (not just text.....). If you still don't understand my question, please contact me through email and I'll send you a scan of what I want.You can get the "text in frame" by creating it as a text expression. In the Text Expression Designer dialog box, click on "Enclose Expression..." 2) I just want to do a 3-part drum notation (Bass drum, Snare and Cymbals in the same system).... How ?? If you still don't understand my question, again, write me an email and I'll send you a scan. You can have 3 parts in the same staff by using layers. I suggest that you read the documentation about using layers. You might also like to read the documentation about percussion staves. Both words (Layers; Percussion) can be found in the index file FinIX.pdf. Peter
