Message:Welcome to the forum, Monica! By The Way: There is a good forum at Coda Music’s own website too.1. Anacrusis: In Finale it is called “pickup”. Go to Options menu > Document Settings > Set Pickups. When you set a pickup you don’t have to mess with the measure numbers. The first full measure will be measure number one. 2. In a piano score, switch to Staff Tool. Double-click the lower staff. In the “Items To Display” pane, uncheck “Endings And Text Repeats”. Now the repeat endings brackets for first and second repeat endings will be displayed above the upper staff only, as they should. To get “Da Capo al Fine” and “Fine” beneath the measure, just drag them with the mouse. Yes, the Finale learning curve is long (the first ten years are the hardest :-). It is worthwhile spending some time with the videos and the tutorial. The .pdf manual is also a good help. I often use the Index file (FinIX.pdf) to find what I am looking for. Peter
