I have been trying to make cue notes. I am using the treble staff only and have a lead line with chord symbols. For measures of rest for the singers I would like to put the piano part in cued notes. I've tried the Add Cue Notes plug-in but the dialog box does not look like the page in the Index on #9-5. It has no staff name showing and it won't allow me to add a staff name. When I've filled out the other info and then press okay, it tells me I must select a stave.
Is this the best way to make cue notes? If so, what am I doing wrong?
