Day-one (first-hour) absolute novice here -- does Coda provide, or is there an alternate source, for the instruments of a British brass band [E-flat cornet, E-flat alto horn, E-flat tuba TREBLE CLEF, and BB-flat tuba TREBLE CLEF] that don't seem to be included in the brass instruments of Finale 2001d?Except for bass trombone, all parts in the band (E-flat and B-flat) are written in treble clef. E-flat soprano and alto clarinet assignments give the parts I need for the E-flat cornet and alto horns, but I didn't find a contra-alto or contra-bass clarinet which would have provided the E-flat and BB-flat "tuba" parts (in treble clef) for a reasonable playback.
I need to be able to write parts in treble clef that will create a score (that will play back in the correct octaves), and I also need to be able to write a score at concert pitch that will let me print parts in treble clef.
Baritone T.C. works directly for the baritone, euphonium, and two top trombone parts.
Also, how do I (is it possible) to apply a new name to a part name on a custom score created by the wizard?
Responses appropriate for a novice, please.
