Re: problems with creating and copying tuplets
Message:Bernard,What "very strange undesired effects" do you experience? Please explain. You can also copy tuplets with the Mass Mover Tool. Initially it seems that you can only select whole measures with the Mass Mover Tool. And you may not want that, if your tuplet only lasts one beat. But go to Edit menu and turn on "Select Partial Measures". Now you can select only the beat containing your tuplet. Actually you can select single entries when "Select Partial Measures" is turned on. One word of caution: Always select whole tuplets. If you select only some of the notes in a tuplet, Finale will forget that they are tuplet notes, and your copy will be ordinary notes instead. To change three 16th triplets to three 8th triplets, use the Mass Mover Tool: 1. Select the 16th triplets (remember to turn on "Select Partial Measures") 2. Go to Mass Mover menu > Change > Note Durations... 3. Set the change to 200 % in the pop up menu. Note that there are the options "Include Tuplets" and "Rebar Music". 4. Click OK. Peter
