Alternatively, if you mean you don't want rests in the last measure, go into Speedy Entry, move to the rests and press the letter O. That hides them.

It's normal practice to leave the last measure full of rests, though, unless there was a pickup measure at the beginning of the music. In that case, the last measure is reduced in length by the number of beats in the pickup.
