Message:"Do I have to add these to the articulation tool to get it work?"In Finale 2002 you have to create articulations that use the shapes you have created. In the Articulation Designer dialog box you have radio buttons in the "Symbols" pane (the top pane) where you can choose "Shape" or "Character".
Choose (the left radio button) "Shape", and click the "Main" button to select the shape for your main symbol.
Choose (the right radio button) "Shape", and click the "Flipped" button to select the shape for your flipped symbol. When you have left the Articulation Designer dialog box, the shape should appear in the Articulation Selection dialog box. You can save your articulations as a library that you can load into other documents. Peter
