Score expression Tool and Petrucci?

Message:Hi everyone. I am running Fin. 3.5 on Windows ME. My question is, If I want to write a score expression of the tempo (i.e. quarter note = 92), how do I write the weird characters that wind up being the notes and numbers when in Petrucci. On my old Mac, I used combinations of the option key and shift and whatever keys helped. On my PC, it won't let me type letters with Ctrl or Alt. Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate the help! Thanks!Matt
