Scott,

Open the document. Click on the lyric tool. Go to lyric menu > edit lyrics. Select the verse that you need to move. Click OK.

Now go to lyric menu > type into score. A set of four triangles appear to the left of the system. Click and drag the leftmost triangle- it will move lyrics up or down.
