Re: How to hold a note during playback
Message:I thought it might be best if I added some more information.I have added the fermatas using the articulation tool. It seems to have absolutely no affect on the playback. I'm also noticing that adding the pedal (Ped) with the articulation tool has no affect on the playback either. It's as if Allegro is just ignoring them. I have set the playback the following settings checked in the playback options: + Play recorded key velocities + Play recorded note durations + Play recorded continuous data + Play recorded tempo changes And I have set the Dynamics and Markings option to Chase from Measure 1. I'm using internal playback through my Mac with Bose speakers. I am able to play CDs on my Mac with wonderful clarity so I know my computer and speakers are capable of handling musical playback just fine. Why does the playback in Allegro seem to ignore the fermatas and pedal markings? What am I doing wrong?
