Re: how to display multimeasure rest in the orquestra score
Message:Fred,1. Make sure that the 16 measures are empty, containing no hidden notes or rests. You can clear the measures with the Mass Mover Tool. Select the 16 measures, and hit the magic key (Windows: Backspace ; Mac: the Clear key on the numeric keypad).
Switch to Page View, if you are not there already. Unlock the systems, if they are locked. Update Layout. Now the 16 measures take up very little space. They are probably all on the top of the first page.
2. Switch to Measure Tool. Select the 16 measures.
3. Measure menu > Multimeasure Rests > Create
4. Update Layout. And now you might like to switch to Mass Mover Tool and lock systems. Peter
