First of all, I am NO computer wiz. I hope I never have to explain what I'm doing on a computer, because, I don't always know.Anyway, I two questions, about 1)PDF files from Finale Notepad, and 2) What I could be doing wrong when I try to 'save as webpage' (.Mus to .Htm).
I had the free Finale Smartviewer, but, something keeps happening to it. (I share this computer, for one thing, and we've got some weird, stray files here and there...)
Anyway, I'm happy just making my Mus files, then turning them into PDFs. Of course, I don't have the audio, but, that's okay.
QUESTION: Is this okay, or ethical, to use Finale Notepad to create, but then turn it into a PDF (which, of course, gives no obvious credit to Finale or Coda, especially if you rename the file when saving it). I think it is, but, just checking.
Okay...here's my other problem...I did initially want to save .MUS files as web pages, so, I clicked for such. It used to work, but, no longer. I even tried doing it all on another computer, the downloads and all -- same problems. I probably just don't understand something. But, if I want to share my files with someone, either by e-mail or as a page link on a website...is there a way? Some trick to it?
I've finally discovered abc2Win, a system for just single-line treble clef music, and I've been making those into PDFs and making the most of that system. No bass clef, at this point, though.
Thank you in advance for any help with these questions!
