I have to say that this is the most frustrating program that I have ever used. I purchased Finale 97 and spent weeks trying to bar 4 eighths notes. I thought I was doing something wrong. Then I got a notice in the mail that I could update to Finale 98 for a FEE, six months after I had purchased 97. I then found out that you had to have 98 to bar 4 eighth notes. I was told that this was the program (97) that all professional musicians used for publishing. However, I find that hard to believe. Barring 4 eighth notes is not something out of the ordinary. That was only the beginning of my frustration.
