Thank you, I've thought of such a solution. It could work with an exactly scheduled edition. This one is not of the kind. I suspect that adding or changing text commentaries will go on till the very end of work. The proposed technique will give me pre-determined blocks making impossible seriuos changes.

It seems to me that I've found a satisfying solution myself. Maybe it can help anybody else.

I turned back to good old Finale 98 (Finale 2002 appeared to be too 'clever' - it thought it knew better my needs), and created a template with

Page Size 3.5 * 18 cm,

0
Page Margins 0.1 0.1 cm
0

for all pages including the first one.

Resized notes to 100%. Took away page numbers and all - and got single-system pages, that can be easily exported to evenly sized graphic files for a musical piece of any length. Simply each page contains one line.

Export to EPS gave me distorted pictures: after *.mus -> *.eps -> *.p65 -> *.pdf I got misic double stretched vertically :(. Later on I will try and find the matter of problem.

But *.mus -> *.tif -> *.p65 -> *.pdf has given an excellent result.

Good luck

Vladimir
