Message:Don't know if this is a Finale problem or a MAC OS problem. I'm trying to dedicate my only serial port (on a G3 266 beige box, OS 8.6) for my MIDI keyboard for "Speedy Entry," and connecting my printer -- and another computer for file sharing -- through the ethernet port.Even though Appletalk is selected in its control panel for the "ethernet" port, it doesn't seem to RELEASE the serial port. So I have to make Appletalk "inactive" in order to get Finale to recognize the MIDI instrument, and I loose my filesharing connection. Would appreciate knowing of any solutions. IF there's actually any. Thanks. Ernie
