Message:Ward,I can't speak for F2K as it isn't out yet in Germany, but I agree
that staff / repeat expressions disappear when using mm rests.
So usually I divided my expressions into two groups: expressions
which must appear in every part in this very measure and
expressions which can be hidden by mm rests. For the first
group, I changed the barline settings in the previous bar always
to "break multimeasure rest". I would love to see this as a
feature to be done automatically in Finale: one should be able
to define an expression to break mm rests, if it occurs within. I didn't have any comparable problems with repeat barlines in my
98c version (german edition). Greetings,
