depends on your music. If most voices have the same rhythm most
of the time, writing as chords/intervals on the staff and using
the "explode music" feature is fast (e.g. often suitable
for traditional Big Band music). If you have multiple complex
voices, I suggest using layers. Sometimes it may even be
appropriate to use multiple staves on top of each other.
