Message:
I'm a newcomer to Finale (a little over a month), after having used Encore for almost six years. It's coming along pretty well, except that I'm typing chord names in, because Finale's method for MIDI input doesn't seem to cover all the bases. Example: Cm6 comes out as Am7(b5)/C. If I change it so that it comes out Cm6, then there doesn't seem to be any way to enter Am7(b5). Am I missing something? Or has anybody invented a plug-in to address this? Thanks for any help.
