Message:Hello everyone, and greetings. I've really been enjoying the forum info (when we aren't arguing,) and something has come up I'd like to ask about. A friend has sent me a Finale File he made on a Mac in an adult ed class. He asked me to save it as a midi file so he could listen to it. (I'm PC based, but since his class is over he doesn't have access to Finale anymore) WELLLLLLLL...... I opened the file just fine, but when I saved it to a midi file, the tempo was less than half of the original, and the accelerandos that were there before were gone. Although theses tempo markings don't show up on the screen in Finale, they always play when you use the playback controls. It's only in the exported midi file that they're wrong. I figure it must be something I am doing. Any wisdom for me? Davis Gloff dgloff@excite.com www.gloff.net
