Message:
I am considering buying Finale 2000 and I have been using Encore for about 6 years and have quite a large body of important literature in the rather useless format of Encore. I have heard some rumours that Encore files can be updated into Finale files, which would simply be an amazing revelation. I tried it and it didn't work (obviously converting them to midi files leaves too much out.) Is there any foundation to this rumour? (I use a PC)
