You will obviously get a variety of answers here, but I much prefer a transposed score. My suggestion would be to check with either your publisher or the conductor of the group you are writing for and see what their preferences are. I believe that quick scan of published scores will show that most of them are transposed, at least here in the US.

Remember that if you write a C score, you will have to set up the parts as transposing before you extract them or you run into major problems at the first rehearsal.
