Message:
I'm looking for a better way to put hyphens between syllables of text. At this time I add hyphens by using the "A" (?) compose text block? It's the tool used for titles and other non musical texts. To do this I have to use the same font settings but this get very tiresome because I have to scroll through a lot of font options for each and every hyphen I insert. I use this because hyphens are not sung words and not set by "clicking". Is there a better way?

A related follow up question:

Is there a way to set the defaults for fonts once and be done with it? It seems every time I work on some music I have to select my font for text because I don't like to use the default setting.
