My 2001 /PC setup works great and rarely crashes/ freezes. I agree totally with the comment about Finale version compatability. There definitely should be a saving option to save to an earlier version.(MS OFfice does!!) Finale is profesional software and if this version thing is a marketing ploy , it shows very limited thinking on Coda's behalf. Before I upgraded to 2k1 I was using ( and extremely happy with) 3.7.2. A number of times I had to email work in .mus form to a colleague in the US. He "tweaked" a few things and sent it back.
Ofcourse he used 2k1 and the file was useless to me.After this happened with a few clients I was virtually "forced" to upgrade.
I bought the software but most PPL would have obtained a crack from a Newsgroup!!!!!!!!!
