Re: Conversion of MIDI files to WAVE files
Message:Piece of cake, I do it all the time. Loop your computer (via MIDI cables) to some type of MIDI reader (because you need something that can read the MIDI signals and has a sound output for either headphones or RCA outs. I use a PSR530 synthesizer. You can also use a tone generator like the MU-5 or MU-15, or a set of digital drums like the DD-50. Next, you need some way of recording directly to your hard drive. I run my PSR-530 outputs to my soundcard's input. You also need a good program for recording. I use MusicMatch Jukebox (MMJB)(you can download it for free at their website). Once you have recorded it into MMJB you can burn it straight to a CD as either an MP3 or as a .wav file. Email me if you have any problems with this. Good luck.
