Message:
I'm using Finale NotePad to write lines for electric bass. In some pieces when I play back the part I've written Finale will produce a loud, spurious tone somewhere in the middle of the score. The tone sounds a bit like a high triangle note (far beyond the range of an electric bass!) but a bit more sustained. It does eventually decay away. This doesn't happen for every composition, but it's not entirely random because when it does happen on a given piece, the tone always occurs at the same place whenever I play back.

Any ideas how to keep this from happening? Finale is otherwise a great product but this one glitch is driving me nuts...
