Message:Ok, here`s the situation. SOmeone sent me some necessary MAC files, in the form of .DOC files - i think they were some program like Cakewalk or something, initially, which were then opened on a Mac running finale, resaved, and send my way.. Anyway. I`m running two PC`s, here - one with a full version of Finale 2000, the other with the slimmed-down "Notepad". Though i can open these MAC files on PC in notepad - no problem there - i can`t seem to transport them into my second computer for more thorough editing. The error message simply indicates an "incompatible file format". Now, i saved these .DOC (enigma, as it appears to have been received here) again as .MUS files, on Notepad. Why can`t i import these binaries to computer 2???? Please respond to this as soon as possible. It`s a holy terror. Especially with deadlines looming. I`ve completed my basic edits on Notepad, but to get more indepth, etc, i really need to open these on Finale. Any ideas? Regards - R.
