Message:
Hi,
I'm working on an orchestral piece with 4 percussion parts which get rather involved in terms of instrumentation. Each player switches back and forth between many instruments, often playing 2 at a time and with different stickings/placement/effects/etc. I'm working on drum mappings for this, but my main question is this:

Is it possible for a mapped percussion staff to switch to a standard treble clef for mallet parts and then switch back to the mapped percussion? If so, how? If not, does anyone have experience working around this? Also, how do I insert MIDI patch change messages into a percussion part to follow these changes? (I will need one staff to utilize percussion from multiple synths, some channel 10 kits and some regular patches)...

This piece is very much percussion-driven, but I don't have a lot of experience with Finale percussion notation... any help would be greatly appreciated....

thanks,
chris.
