Message:
Hi, I'm having a major problem trying to receive a MIDI file from an arranger in New York. He uses Finale as the notation/playback software and the E-MU Virtuoso sound module as the sound module. He also works on Mac and I on PC. (I plan on putting his MIDI file onto my Roland x-p 50 work station and then bring the work station into a recording studio that works with Pro Tools.) But, my major worry is not being able to receive the MIDI file by e-mail I've just been receiving files named: application/x-macbinary. It appears to be a hypertext document that opens with Netscape.

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate it. We're trying to prepare three songs for MIDEM here in France and we go into the studio next week!
